Bike Hub Nelson is all about getting people on bikes!

We fix up donated bikes and offer them back to the community for a koha/donation.

We're open Wednesdays 3.30-5.30pm except during public holidays and over Christmas/New Year.

​If you're keen to upskill, we offer bike maintenance courses.

Need a bike?

Visit our showroom to see our range of preloved, serviced bikes. 

We work on a koha basis, so you pay what you can afford.

Where possible we try to offer helmets with bikes.

Want to be involved?

We welcome volunteers who have bike mechanical and/or public facing skills and can work positively in a team. 

​We're looking for bike mechanics to repair bikes and people who can match members of the public with bikes during our opening hours.

Got a bike to donate?

​If you'd like to donate a bike and it's in good condition, please bring it down to Bike Hub during one of our mechanic sessions - 
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9.30-12pm, or during our public open hours.

We may be able to collect bikes if transport is an issue for you. Please email us your address and a contact phone number and we'll be in touch.

Bikes not suitable for offering back to the community may be stripped for parts or sold to help cover our costs.
